Sensei's guidance plus pot equals profundity, apparently.

Oaks, I've been watching those threads about marijuana growers who seem to be very enthusiastic about SGI and Daisaku Ikeda. I figured it was just a matter of time before SGI would distance itself from these fans of chanting and marijuana.Allegedly, the folks who run the SGI Buddhism site have denied access to one of the ICmag posters. See this post:

Someone named "Dan Defensor" played quite a game with me when I recently tried to sign up for membership over there. I gather they have reason to defend themselves so carefully against any intruders... Dan Defensor@ yahoo wrote me twice with all sorts of very personal questions about why I wanted to join and who recommended me, what degree of faith I had, etc. When I replied that Easy recommended the site he refused to allow me membership!I wrote him back all-too-nicely saying that I was no longer interested, and thanks for removing the link to ICMag.com...Now my IP number has been blocked from even viewing their home page!I have to wonder what they are so suspicious of, and why?
Indeed.

I have been banned from the sgibuddhism site as well. My offense was questioning their support of an anti-Nichiren Shoshu site. The sgibuddhism site is actually a front for a multi-level marketing scam (mroaks, you should be looking into this!).

brooke, that post has been conveniently disappeared.
