Here's a roundup of my recent bookmarks:
Las Vegas City Councilwoman Lois Tarkanian personally endorsed Soka Gakkai. I think she should be a bit more circumspect.

Chanter and author Amy Ferris talks about her practice:
"I had a friend who was practicing and chanting. She seemed so happy. I said, I don't know what you're doing, but I want to do it too. A lot of people have trouble with the organization, but I love chanting. I'm a champion of whatever inspires women to have faith in themselves. I feel now I can transform my own life. I'm not waiting for someone to shift my mind or situation. I think a lot of women don't feel that way."
Amy wrote Marrying George Clooney: Confessions of a Midlife Crisis.

I almost forgot. Markp launched a forum for Nichiren Buddhists. It's similar to E-Sangha. Check it out:http://ichinensanzen.org/forum/
Yep, was going through withdrawal with no place to post. Downloaded a great free forum program and got it going pretty quick. We now have 16 members and are growing fairly steady, but slow. Hoping to get some of the regulars at E-Sangha so we can continue the discussion. :)
